Note : Groups that use the respiratory belt for physiological monitoring purpose will need to  purchase their own belt (Effective date: 06/01/2006).
Due to frequent breaking of the respiratory belt caused by operator errors, Center for fMRI has decided to stop providing the respiratory belt for physiological monitoring purpose starting from06/01/2006 . Groups that need the respiratory belt for their experiments will need to purchase the belt from BIOPAC directly (see instruction below; each belt costs $195). The Center will maintain two belts (one for each scanner) only for training and as emergency backups. If you need to check out these belts, please contact Cecelia ( cecelia@ucsd.edu or ext. 20584) or Linda ( ldileo@ucsd.edu or ext. 20513). We appreciate your understanding of the needs to introduce such a change.
