Computer Equipment

Our main server is a PowerEdge 2650, Dual Xeon 2.8GHz processors, 2GB of RAM and running Linux RedHat 9.0, connected to a PowerVault 220S raid with a total of 2T of storage.

Our second server is a PowerEdge 2650, Xeon 2.4GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 730GB hard drive space and running Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 4.

Our third server is a PowerEdge 2850, Dual Xeon 3.2GHz processors, 2GB of RAM, 1.8T hard drive space, running Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 4, a Qualstar TLS-5433 tape library, and an AX100 with 6T of storage for disk-to-disk backup.

Our course server is a PowerEdge 2850, Dual Xeon 2.8GHx processors, 2GB of RAM, 900GB hard drive space and running Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 4

Our Web Application Server is a PowerEdge 2650, Dual Xeon 2.8GHz processor; 2GB of RAM, 730GB hard drive space and running Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 3, and a Qualstar TLS-4440 tape library.

Our Main webserver is a PowerEdge 1850, Xeon 2.8Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, 73GB hard drive space and running Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 4.

Centralized logging server and RIL web server is a PowerEdge 2550, P3 1.26GHz, with 512MB of Ram, 356GB hard drive space, running Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 4.

The center has several workstations including a Sun Blade 1000 and several Linux Red Hat workstations for data handling and analysis.

The Center also has 2 Linux servers supporting our internal research groups

We have a windows server to backup our administrative desktops

Networking

The fMRI center utilizes the state of the art Cisco Catalyst 6009 switch. The chassis has 6 slots, of which three are utilized with 2 more for growth.

The switch is configured with Supervisor Card, 8 port Gigabit Module and 2 48 port 10/100 Modules. Cabling infrastructure will be fiber to the building, the scanners, the main server and the BIRN rack and Category 6 level cabling for workstations.

The fMRI center also equipped with 2 Wireless Access Points that support 802.11a/b/g
