David Dubowitz, MD PhD, is a radiologist and neuroscientist. His research interests are is in the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), focusing primarily on the basic physiology of functional MRI, both in humans and in other animals. He also has research interests in magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and MRI measurements of cerebral blood flow and metabolism, particularly as they apply to acclimatization and deacclimatization to altitude.
